Face and Neck Lift
A facelift is a surgical procedure performed to correct sagging of the face, deep wrinkle lines — particularly the jowls along the sides of the jaw — and the deep nasolabial folds where the mouth and cheek meet. Not only the skin but also the supporting tissues beneath it are reshaped, aiming for a more natural and long-lasting result.
Its Goals
● Define the facial contours
● Reduce sagging along the cheeks and jawline
● Soften deep lines
● Achieve a younger, fresher appearance
● Reshape the facial contour
How Is a Facelift Performed?
The incisions are usually planned in front of the ear, behind the ear and hidden within the hairline. The tissues beneath the skin are repositioned, excess skin is removed and a firmer appearance is achieved.
Procedures That Can Be Combined If Needed
● Neck lift
● Eyelid surgery
● Brow lift
● Fat injection
● Skin rejuvenation treatments
What Is Neck Lift Surgery?
A neck lift is a surgical procedure performed to correct sagging, laxity and band-like appearance in the area under the chin and along the neck.Which Problems Does It Target?
● Loose neck skin
● Fullness under the chin (double chin)
● Loss of the chin-neck angle
● Vertical band appearance on the neck
● Loss of contour
How Is a Neck Lift Performed?
Through a 2-3 cm incision under the chin, the deep neck fat is removed and the neck muscles that create the vertical band appearance are stitched together with corset sutures. Through an additional incision hidden behind the ear within the hairline, the subcutaneous tissue known as the SMAS is tightened and fixed to the neck, and the procedure is completed by removing the excess skin. In some patients it can be combined with liposuction. The aim is not to change the facial expression, but to help the person look fresher and rejuvenated.
Recovery Process
● Discharge is usually possible the same day or after a short hospital stay
● Swelling, tightness and mild bruising may occur in the first days
● The swelling subsides within a few weeks
● Return to social life varies from person to person
● The results settle more naturally over time
